MARKET COMMENT-17.11.2025

Marginal gains on the bourse… 
The ZSE market commenced the new week in marginal gains as the All-Share Index grew 0.12% to 215.66pts while, the Blue Chips Index gained 0.96% to 214.09pts. Contrastingly, the ZSE Agriculture Index declined 1.08% to 167.22pts while, the Mid Cap Index trimmed 2.80% to 241.41pts. Turnall led the risers of the day having surged 33.04% to close at $0.1200. Following was Nampak that edged up 10.77% to $0.7200 while, Mashonaland Holdings put on 4.74% to $1.0080. Banking group NMB charged 4.65% to $4.5000 as telecoms giant Econet capped the top five risers of the day on a 2.86% rise to $5.0210. NTS dropped 56.81% to settle at $0.2505 as SeedCo Limited dipped 7.32% to $3.8000. Star Africa shed 4.25% to end pegged at $0.0325 as ZSE Holdings went down 3.53% to $1.0997. TN Cybertech capped the top five shakers of the day after a 3.45% loss that took it to $0.1207.  
 
The market registered a positive breadth of two as nine counters gained against seven which faltered. Activity aggregates were depressed in the session as volumes traded 
succumbed 86.32% to 841,500 shares while, turnover plummeted 86.93% to $8.80m.  Delta and Econet anchored the volume and value aggregates claiming a combined 87.29% of the former and 96.78% of the latter.  Foreign selling was in Delta as 450,000 shares worth $7,020,035.00 exchanged hands. The Tigere REIT eased 14.69% to $1.2487 as 217,693 units worth $271,841.60 exchanged hands. No trades were recorded in the ETF category.
