ZSE reverses prior session losses…
The ZSE market reversed prior session’s losses on a 0.62% gain that took it to 399.75pts. The ZSE Top Ten Index edged up 0.45% to 396.25pts while, the ZSE Agriculture Index jumped 4.37% to close at 323.40pts. The Mid Cap Index went up 1.29% to close the day at 442.34pts. Cigarette manufacturer BAT surged 10.01% to close at $189.6824, trailed by TSL that jumped 9.92% to $7.4745. Banking group TN Cybertech ticked up 6.79% to $0.1497 while, SeedCo Limited added 2.72% to $3.9100. General Beltings capped the top five risers of the day after a 2.27% lift to $0.1125. Logistics concern Unifreight plummeted 6.98% to $1.6000 as Mashonaland Holdings retreated 2.29% to $1.6700. Tea company Tanganda declined 2.15% to $4.9898 as FBC trimmed 0.01% to $10.9990.
Volume of shares traded ballooned 277.90% to 15.25m while, turnover dropped 39.44% to $12.84m. TN Cybertech was the top volume driver of the day claiming a gigantic 95.77% of the aggregate. Value drivers of the day were Delta and TN Cybertech that claimed 73.01% and 17.02% respectively. The Cass Saddle ETF ticked up 0.27% to $0.0683 on 1,200 units. The Tigere REIT plunged 2.48% to $1.1651 as 6.40m units exchanged hands.
