ZSE commences new week in losses…

The ZSE market commenced the new week in losses as the primary All Share Index lost 0.65% to 476.31pts while, the Blue-Chip Index fell 0.75% to 482.51pts. The Agriculture Index dropped 0.86% to 343.54pts while, the Mid Cap Index eased 0.15% to 479.59pts. Milk processor Dairibord led the laggards of the day on a 7.49% retreat to $4.2923, followed by Star Africa that came off 3.98% to $0.0325. Delta trimmed 1.67% to close at $31.8256 while, Ariston declined 1.32% to $0.0750. Seed producer SeedCo capped the worst performers of the day on a 0.87% slid to end the day pegged at $4.9107. Partially mitigating today’s losses was CAFCA that shot up 7.61% to $23.5138 while, Zimre Holdings charged 5.32% to $0.9373. RTG ticked up 0.65% to closed at $1.5500 while, tea producer Tanganda went up 0.45% to $4.6400. AFDIS capped the top five best performers of the day on a 0.16% uplift to end the day pegged at $15.0247.
