Losses persist into the new week…
The market continued to falter in the first session of the week
as the mainstream All Share Index lost a further 1.31% to
453pts while, the Blue Chips Index declined 1.41% to
450.13pts. The ZSE Agriculture Index shed 1.68% to end at
332.97pts while, the Mid Cap Index was 0.89% down to
495.37pts. Tea company Tanganda led the losers of the day
after a 14.77% dip that took it to $3.5200. Following was
hotelier RTG that dropped 13.72% to $1.4203 as Delta
beverages succumbed 1.75% to settle at $27.9079. Brick
makers Willdale retreated 1.70% to $0.0702 while,
Mashonaland Holdings slid 0.89% to $1.6700. Partially
mitigating today’s losses was SeedCo Limited that surged
7.53% to $4.5000. TN Cybertech rose 2.92% to $0.3505 as Star
Africa added 1.28% to $0.0502. Zimre Holdings grew 0.30% to
$0.7000 while, banking group FBC was 0.17% firmer at
$13.4340.
