FBC highlights the session…
Banking group FBC highlighted today’s session as circa 2.42m shares worth $24.65m exchanged hands. The trade accounted for a hefty 94.37% of total volumes traded and 86.97% of the value outturn. Total volumes traded jumped 465.03% to 2.56m shares while, turnover ballooned 1018.95% to $28.35m. The Cass Saddle ETF went up 1.13% to close the day at $0.0867 on 1,500 units while, the Morgan and Co MCS was stable at $1.5500 on 2,400 units. The Tigere REIT charged 2.28% to $1.1914 on 1.18m units while, the Revitus REIT was unchanged at $1.9000 on 5,500 units.
FBC led the risers of the day on a 13.40% upsurge that took it $10.2063, trailing was Mashonaland Holdings that garnered 10.92% to $1.5208. Financial services giant CBZ soared 6.37% to $25.6536 as beverages concern Delta edged up 5.29% to $31.6314. Tea company Tanganda capped the top five risers of the day on a 4.17% uplift to $3.6000. TN Cybertech was the major casualty of the day with a 4.77% retreat to $0.1628, following was cigarettes maker BAT that shed 1.74% to $181.9230. Construction group Masimba trimmed 1.28% to $3.3500. First Mutual Holdings went down 0.91% to $2.7000 with RTG sliding 0.64% to $1.2495.
The mainstream All share Index improved 4.23% to 414.90pts while, the ZSE Top Ten Index firmed up 5.16% to 420.62pts. The Mid Cap Index ticked up 0.20% to 417.47pts while, the ZSE Agriculture Index added 0.10% to close at 303.80pts.
